The Westmoreland Club Dress Code Policy is as follows:

With the exception of a few areas of the Westmoreland Club, the minimum attire required at all times is Club Casual.
A dress code upholds a welcoming environment for adults and families alike and sets the standards of first-class establishment. Distinguished by the strength of our tradition, this holds as true today as it did when the Westmoreland Club was founded, and why a dresscode is still enforced. If ever in doubt what to wear atthe Club it is recommended to always err on the sideof more conservative attire.
What is traditional attire?
- Business suit - Collared shirt and dress sport jacket, and necktie - Closed-toe leather dress shoe - Equivalent military or public service uniform
What is formal attire?
Men - Black Tie or Tuxedo
Women - Dresses, cocktail dress, dinner suits, skirts and dress slacks with appropriate top.
What is Club Casual?
- Collared shirt tucked in (includes polo shirts)
- Turtleneck and mock turtleneck
- Slacks or khakis
- Closed-toe leather dress shoes
- Dress, blouse, sweater or top, skirt, pantsuit or slacks
- Dress shoes (including open or closed-toe, mules, loafer and dressy sandals.
Unacceptable Attire On Club Property Includes:
Blue jeans and denim outfi ts (any kind, color, style, orfi nish), sweatshirts, sweatpants, cargo pants or shorts, shortshorts, tee shirts of any kind, tank tops, halter tops, elasticleggings (spandex).
The privileges of the Club are available to members and associate members and their guests, subject to the following House Committee Rules
Cell Phones - When entering the Clubhouse, the Club asks all members and guests to turn their cell phones onto "vibrate." Cell Phones, Smart Devices and Laptop computers may be used in The Nook area and private rooms but are not permitted in member dining rooms or bars.
Parking on the Westmoreland Club premises must be confined solely to members or bona fide guests during the time in which these members or those having the privileges of the Club are actually in the Clubhouse. For the convenience of our members and their guests additional parking is available at the Citizens Bank Parkade and Wilkes-Barre City Lot (entrance on Northampton Street) as follows: Your parking ticket secured at the parkade will be stamped on the reverse side, at the front desk at the Club. The stamped ticket presented by the parkade will take care of your parking charge entirely at dinner and for one hour at lunch.
No subscriptions shall be solicited, article exposed for sale, or advertising permitted in the clubhouse.
DIRECTIONS TO WESTMORELAND CLUB FROM THE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE:
Take Turnpike Exit 36 (Bear Creek) and follow to Wilkes- Barre Rte. 115 North. Rte. 115 runs directly into Rte. 309 North. From Rte. 309 North take exit 3 (Wilkes- Barre/Plains). At light on the exit ramp make a left and follow River Street South for 8 traffic lights. At the 8th light make a left onto Northampton Street. Go one block and make a left onto South Franklin Street. We are one half of a block down on the left hand side. Additional parking is provided at the Citizens' Bank Parkade across the street from the Club.
DIRECTIONS TO WESTMORELAND CLUB FROM ROUTE 81 NORTH AND SOUTH:
From Rte. 81 take exit 170 Wilkes-Barre. Follow sign to Rte. 309 North. From Rte. 309 North take exit 3 (Wilkes- Barre/Plains). At the light on the ramp go left and follow River Street South 8 traffic lights. At the 8th light make a left onto Northampton Street. Go one block and make a left onto South Franklin Street. We are one half of a block down on the left hand side. Additional parking is provided at the Citizens' Bank Parkade across the street from the Club.
